My Current GTD Approach

Capture tool: Moleskine Cahier, pocket size. Precise V5 pen. Why? Fits in any pocket. Paper "starts up" instantly. Unobtrusive, quick input. Software: http://GQueues.com. Why? Integrates with Google Calendar. Good Web interface with drag and drop. Can be customized to work with GTD (they offer a video showing some ideas for that, but for inspiration I used the GTD Setup guide for Outlook from davidco.com ). iPhone app (not awesome, but it works). Cons: presentable but not beautiful interface; no search yet (but a good weekly review will minimize that problem!).

A Simple Index Card GTD System

" The system is simple. I use a small stack of colored 3 inch by 5 inch index cards, held together with a small bulldog clip. During the week, the stack resides in my shirt pocket; on the weekends, it moves effortlessly to my jeans or shorts. BoingBoing Interview: Richard Koch, author of The 80/20 Principle

"... we all needed to change our lives to focus on the best moments and times and make those the core of our lives." http://www.boingboing.net/2011/05/12/8020.html

The camera really does add 10 pounds -- or maybe 20, if you're filming yourself.

'Back to Paper...'

"I recently deleted Things for Mac and Things for iPhone. It wasn't because of the recent squabbles among productivity nerds about Things vs. Omnifocus. It was because of a book called  The Shallows . It's bringing me back to paper." http://www.cjchilvers.com/journal/back-to-paper-back-to-work.html
