Syncing Microsoft Outlook to Google Apps
There is only one good, complete solution I've found for synching Outlook to Google Apps. In other words:
That program is gSyncit, which can be found here:
http://www.daveswebsite.com/software/gsync/
It's not cheap, but it works (in my case).
If you also sync Outlook to the iPhone, make sure you check the settings in iTunes before you sync.
Sure, you can use Google's GCal sync
http://www.google.com/support/calendar/bin/answer.py?answer=89955
but it only syncs calendars.
You also can sync Outlook Tasks via Toodledo
http://www.toodledo.com
and some third-party software it links to on its site. In my case, though, the syncing didn't quite work (but maybe that was my fault; still, I wasn't able to fix it).
